What a Busy Time I have had!

I think the title says it all today. It has been a tad bit hectic.

Last weekend, Sam and I had an excellent time in Canberra. We stayed at The Hotel Realm (which I would highly recommend) and went to see Cirque Du Soliel. If you get a chance to see this I would urge you to do so ... it was awesome, amazing and incredible. Of course, we also did a bit of shopping on the Sunday and headed home to see the furkids!

This weekend, there is a Girls Crop In over at Chookscraps to raise funds for the Cancer Council. There are challenges, an auction (where you can bid on a layout to be completed by one of the talented Chooks) and plenty of fun and giggles. If you are close to Gundagai and feel like doing a bit of scrapping tomorrow, we are holding a Crop In at Gundagai Public School from 10:00 am. It will cost you $10 and you will be able to scrap all day! All funds raised will go to The Cancer Council as part of the Chookscraps Crop In.

Layouts from this weekend and last weekend are to come ... stay tuned!

Scrapbooking

Like I said in my introduction, I love to scrap.

Here are just some of my Layouts that I did at the retreat. Did I mention that I love to scrap bright colours!!

Did I also mention that I have a niece and nephew. They are also my scrapping victims. This first Layout is my niece when she was a baby. She is covered in bubbles!!

This next Layout is one that I did of the girls and I at my wedding. Now is the time to go aaawwwwhhhh!! For those of you who don't know, it was not your typical wedding.

This weekend, there is a Cybercrop happening over at Chookscraps. This is the layout I did for Challenge 3. It is of my nephew, Christopher.

This is a layout that I did of Sam for my wedding album, which is still under construction. Stay tuned for more wedding photos as there are plenty to choose from!!

Hello

Hello and welcome to my Blog.

My name is Wendy. I am married to Sam and live in Gundagai, NSW. I am a teacher and I have four furkids (my dogs). I also have a little addiction called scrapbooking and I love it! My scrapping victims are usually Sam and the dogs.

The biggest project that I have been working on has been my wedding album. I will be uploading some of these in the near future.

I have been a little bit busy these school holidays. I have been to Western Australia, where I went to a three day scrapping retreat. I managed to get a few layouts completed (21 in three days). Jan and I then went on a little tour of WA. The furtherest we got was Monkey Mia (that was a trip). We also included a little walk around Perth and a visit to Wave Rock in the time that we were there.
