All Dressed Up and a Formal to go to!

This weekend is the Scrapping Outback Chipboard High School Formal (http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/). The winners were announced last night. I would like to congratulate Trudi, who won the competition and Kerryn, the runner up. I would also like to congratulate Jacque who won the Wild Card Draw and Melinda who won the Most Improved Award. I was the runner up of the Wild Card Draw with my "One Extreme Ride" layout.
The challenges for the Formal are excellent and here are the ones that I have completed so far ...
The Bag Challenge - no formal is complete without one:

A Mini Mocktail - a great blind scrapping challenge:

Carole's Quilling Challenge - a card with a twist:

On the footy front, Gundagai Tigers absolutely smashed Tumbarumba in the football this afternoon. The score - 68-0! Go the Tigers!

Just a Little Stroll ...

I cannont believe that the weekend is nearly over! What a busy time I have had. With the Chookscraps Cybercrop on this weekend, I have done a lot of scrapping!
Here are just some of my completed challenges.

I also completed my last Chipboard High School lesson for Scrapping Outback (http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/). Here is the layout:

Last but not least, Jan and I took a little stroll on the Duplicated Sheahan Bridge this morning (along with half of Gundagai). My layout "The Bridge" is just a little view of the bridge. Here is the Layout that I did of Jan and I:

Another Scrapping Week!

This weekend is the Cybercrop over at Chookscraps. I have managed to ruffle some DT feathers by putting up a tricky criteria ... 1 piece of pp no bigger than 5 cm x 25 cm. It will be interesting to see what they come up with! Meanwhile, Idol keeps rolling along. This week's challenge is all about Tamworth.
Chookscraps CC Challenge 2 - White Space LO

This week, I have managed to complete some challenges for Scrapping Outback. Today I am going to attempt the last Chipboard Highschool lesson, which is by one of my favourite scrappers, Carole Janson. It is all about paper piecing, so will see how I go. Stay tuned for the layout I complete. In the meantime, here is my Rusty Pickle challenge for this month. For this challenge, you had to use 3 patterned papers and have the word "Mother" on your Layout. I used Mini for this. It is a bit loud and bleary but works!

Just Another Scrappy Week!

Well another week has gone by and it has been busy. Heirloom Scraps Retreat was fantastic and I got a load of Layouts and a mini album done. Dean was stoked with the album and the layouts are all uploaded on Uproar 2 Scrapmore for the Ultimate Wipeout Round.

This week on Scrapping Outback (http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/), Chipboard Highschool is all about metallics. I chose to scrap Dean's son Ben in action from the BMX competition held in Canberra a few weeks ago.

There is only one week left at Chipboard Highschool and I must say that I am going to miss the lessons because I have learnt so much!
